Delete your GiftLynx account

You can permanently delete your account and data at any time, from the app or the website.

In the GiftLynx app

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

On the website

  1. Sign in and go to your Profile.
  2. Under Delete account, click Delete Account, type DELETE and confirm.

Can't sign in?

Email hello@giftlynx.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my GiftLynx account”. We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, profile, email address and password
  • Your giftees, gift ideas and saved products
  • Your wish lists and their items, including share links
  • Your connections, connection requests and invitations
  • Gift plans you marked on friends' wish lists
  • Notifications, push notification tokens, price watches, Lynx feedback and usage records

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Other people keep their own data: if a friend had you as a giftee, their giftee stays on their list but is no longer linked to your account.
